I remembered asking my Dad when I was just a little girl trying to figure out the world around me, "Daddy, if I had Down Syndrome, would you still love me the same amount?"
I remembered him saying, "No, I'd love you more."
"Why, Dad?"
"Because the world might love you a little less."
And I totally cried some more.
I don't mean to be bossy, but go read Kelle and Nella's story. You really should.
