Last night as I crawled into bed, Nathan had his gaze fixed on something he was reading on his iPhone. I attempted to get his attention, and the following conversation took place:
Me: Goodnight, I love you.
Nathan: Mmm.
Me: Do you love me?
Nathan: Mmm.
Me: Do you love Nell?
Nathan: Mmm.
Me: You love us both?
Nathan: Mmm.
Me: Do you love us more than that Mrs. Field's brownie ice cream?
Nathan (slightly exasperated): Not anymore.
Me: What about regular chocolate ice cream?
Nathan: Not anymore.
Me: Hmm. If you could have pizza every night for the rest of your life, or me with you every night for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
Nathan: You, but silent.
{He's joking, guys, don't worry.}
So, what WAS he looking at on his iPhone? Perhaps I should try out Mrs. Field's Brownie ice cream It must be pretty incredible!
