It's strange to think that two years ago I was holding a newborn in my arms and wondering what life with two children would be like, and now I can't imagine what life without these two children would be like.
Ree got a little handmade gift at breakfast yesterday to start the day off on a fun note.
Let's get ready to go to Home Depot! Daddy is going to make you a birthday present today!
Ok, Mama, I'm ready:
What could this be?
By the time Ree woke up from her afternoon nap, it was ready for her {and her big sister} to do some serious playing.
A pizza dinner last night, and then German chocolate cake! {but she only wanted the vanilla ice cream, as it turned out}
A new sandbox, and a couple of other small presents, too! What a lucky and loved little girl.
{this little wooden village was a craigslist find for just a few dollars, and it's a lovely, quality German-made toy set that will go nicely on the car table I painted for the girls for Christmas}
So glad this kid joined our family two years ago. Totally worth the hyperemesis, the aches and pains of pregnancy, and yes, even the labor and delivery.
Happy Birthday Miss Marie!
